Terms, Conditions, & Disclaimers

I. Parimutuel Betting Disclaimer

All wagers are pooled together and payouts are determined based on the total amount wagered and the distribution of bets within each pool. Payouts are not fixed and may fluctuate until betting closes.

II. Skill-Based Tournament Disclaimer

This betting platform is intended solely for participants of the 2026 PBCC Member-Guest Tournament and is operated as a private tournament activity. Participation is restricted to eligible tournament participants.

III. No Guarantee of Winnings

Participation involves risk. No winnings are guaranteed, and participants may lose all amounts wagered. The tournament committee, organizers, sponsors, and operators, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the wagering pools.

IV. Tax Responsibility

Participants are solely responsible for determining and satisfying any tax obligations associated with winnings received through the betting pools.

V. Official Results

Tournament results as determined by the Club Professional, and/or tournament committee, shall be deemed final for all wagering purposes.

VI. Responsible Gaming Statement

Please wager responsibly. Gambling can be addictive and may result in financial loss. Participation in the PBCC Member-Guest Parimutuel Betting Pool is voluntary and intended for entertainment among tournament participants.

VII. Payout Estimates & Live Odds

Any published payout estimates or live odds are informational only.

VIII. Payment of Wagers

All wagers submitted through the PBCC Parimutuel Operating System betting platform constitute a binding commitment by the participant to pay the full amount of the wager. Participants are responsible for remitting payment in cash at the tournament within the timeframe designated by the tournament committee.

Any wager for which payment is not received may be declared void at the sole discretion of the tournament committee. The tournament committee further reserves the right to disqualify participants from wagering activities, withhold winnings, or take other appropriate action in response to unpaid wagers.

IX. Wager Finality

All wagers are final once submitted. No wager may be modified, canceled, transferred, refunded, or otherwise altered after submission, regardless of error, oversight, or subsequent changes in circumstances.

X. Errors & Corrections

The tournament committee reserves the right to correct obvious clerical, mathematical, display, or technical errors. Erroneous payouts may be adjusted or recovered when deemed reasonably necessary by the tournament committee, in order to preserve the integrity of the pools.

XI. Technical Issues

The tournament committee and/or Plum Brook Country Club is not responsible for internet outages, device malfunctions, browser issues, or other technical problems that prevent a participant from placing a wager before the deadline. Participants are encouraged to place wagers well in advance of pool closure.

XII. Integrity of Competition

Any attempt to manipulate betting pools, exploit software vulnerabilities, falsify information, or otherwise undermine the integrity of the wagering system is strictly forbidden, and may result in disqualification and forfeiture of wagers and winnings.

XIII. Right to Modify

The tournament committee reserves the right to amend these Terms, Conditions, and Disclaimers as necessary to address unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, or matters affecting the integrity of the competition.

XIV. Force Majeure

If weather, course conditions, tournament cancellation, or other events beyond the control of tournament organizers materially affect the competition, the tournament committee may suspend, modify, or cancel wagering pools and determine an equitable method of resolving wagers.

XV. Tournament Committee Discretion

The committee's decisions regarding pool administration, interpretation of rules, eligibility, payouts, and dispute resolution shall be final and binding.

XVI. Acceptance of Terms

By placing a wager, each participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, Conditions, Disclaimers, and all applicable wagering rules established by the tournament committee.

PARTICIPATION IN THE PBCC MEMBER-GUEST PARIMUTUEL BETTING POOLS CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND DISCLAIMERS.
