2026 PBCC Member-Guest Tournament
Parimutuel Betting Rules

I. Eligibility

Participation in the Parimutuel Betting Pools, Line Betting, and any other wagering products offered through this system is restricted exclusively to registered players competing in the 2026 PBCC Member-Guest Tournament, and/or other individuals expressly authorized by the Tournament Committee to participate in wagering.

II. Betting Windows and Pool Closing Times

Wagering will be conducted in four distinct pools, each with its own closing time:

  1. Day 1 Pool (Win-Place-Show on total match points, Matches 1–3): Closes at the start of the Friday 8:30AM shotgun and will not reopen. All three Friday matches are settled as a single combined result; no wagers will be accepted once Match 1 has begun, regardless of whether Matches 2 or 3 have yet to be played.
  2. Day 2 Pool (Win-Place-Show on total match points, Matches 4 & 5): Closes at the start of the Saturday 8:30AM shotgun and will not reopen.
  3. Overall Pool (Win-Place-Show on overall net score): Closes at the start of the Friday 8:30AM shotgun and will not reopen.
  4. Line Betting Pool (Win-Place-Show on total match points, not overall net score): Closes at the start of the Friday 8:30AM shotgun and will not reopen.

Advance wagering will be available online during the week preceding the event, and in person on Thursday and Friday, consistent with the published betting schedule. No wagers of any kind will be accepted after their respective pool has closed, and no pool will reopen once closed for any reason.

III. Wager Amounts

There is no maximum wager amount. All wagers must be submitted in whole-dollar increments. No fractional-dollar wagers will be accepted.

IV. Finality of Wagers

All wagers are final upon submission. Once a wager has been submitted, it may not be modified, canceled, withdrawn, or refunded for any reason.

V. Official Results

Tournament standings and payouts shall be determined solely by the official results posted by the Tournament Committee or their designees. Any subsequent corrections to tournament scoring shall be reflected in the betting results, provided the correction is made before the applicable pool's prizes have been distributed. Corrections made after distribution will not result in reversal or reallocation of already-paid winnings.

VI. Ties and Split Payouts

In the event of a tie in any betting category, the applicable prize pool shall be divided equally among all winning wagers, except where the tie affects the underlying tournament result itself (e.g., a tie for a flight-winner or Shootout qualifying spot), in which case the tournament's own tiebreaker procedures (margin of victory, then a putting contest on #18, per the Tournament Rules) will first determine the official finishing order, and betting payouts will follow that resolved order rather than being split. Any remaining ties, including all ties in Line Betting, shall be resolved as determined by the Tournament Committee.

VII. Player Withdrawal or Disqualification

If a player or team withdraws, is disqualified, or fails to complete the tournament, all wagers placed on that player or team shall remain valid and will be settled based on the Tournament Committee's official standings and rules.

VIII. Pool Distribution

All wagering proceeds, after deduction of any administrative fee or house takeout established in advance by the Tournament Committee, shall constitute the net wagering pool and shall be distributed exclusively among holders of winning wagers in proportion to the applicable parimutuel payout for the respective betting pool. The approved takeout percentage will be published prior to the opening of each betting pool and will not be changed after a pool has opened.

Within every betting pool, Win, Place, and Show are three separate pools. The Win pool pays only wagers on the team finishing first, the Place pool pays only wagers on the team finishing second, and the Show pool pays only wagers on the team finishing third. A pick in one pool does not carry over to another. Each pool's house takeout is deducted from the top and the remaining net pool is divided among that pool's winning wagers in proportion to stake; stakes are not returned separately.

IX. Line Betting

Line Betting is a parimutuel Win / Place / Show pool in which wagers are placed on the Lines, ranked by total match points (not overall net score). Win, Place, and Show are three separate pools: the Win pool pays only wagers on the Line finishing first, the Place pool pays only wagers on the Line finishing second, and the Show pool pays only wagers on the Line finishing third. A pick in one pool does not carry over to another—the Place pool does not pay backers of the first-place Line, and the Show pool does not pay backers of the first- or second-place Lines. Each pool is settled independently in the same parimutuel manner as the Day 1, Day 2, and Overall Pools: that pool's house takeout is deducted from the top and the remaining net pool is divided among that pool's winning wagers in proportion to stake. Stakes are not returned separately; each winner's payout is simply that winner's proportional share of the net pool. Sections III through VIII apply to Line Betting in the same manner as the other parimutuel pools.

X. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute regarding wagers, payouts, or interpretation of these rules shall be resolved by the Tournament Committee, whose decision shall be final and binding.

XI. Acceptance of Rules

Submission of any wager constitutes acceptance of these rules and all decisions made by the Tournament Committee regarding the administration of the betting pools.
