Place Your Day 2 Wagers
How payouts are calculated
Win, Place, and Show are three separate pools. Win pays only wagers on the team that finishes 1st, Place only wagers on the 2nd-place team, and Show only wagers on the 3rd-place team — a pick in one pool does not carry over to another.
For each pool, a house takeout is removed and the remaining net pool is divided among that pool's winning wagers in proportion to how much each person wagered. Your stake is not returned separately; your payout is simply your share of the net pool.
Win, Place, and Show are three separate pools, and a team can pay in more than one. Win pays only wagers on the team that finishes 1st. Place pays wagers on either of the top two teams. Show pays wagers on any of the top three.
For each pool, a house takeout is removed first. The Win pool's net is divided among the 1st-place team's backers in proportion to how much each person wagered. The Place pool's net is split in half — one half for each of the top two teams, divided among that team's backers in proportion to wager. The Show pool's net is split in thirds the same way. If a paying team drew no wagers, the remaining teams split the whole net pool. Your stake is not returned separately; your payout is simply your share.
